Understanding tracking at Shipment Level in vFulfill

When it comes to shipping, it is our sole responsibility to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible. However, we do understand that as a store owner you might be curious to know what’s happening with the order and you wish to ensure a successful order delivery.

To have a clear understanding/visibility of the status of your shipments, you can check the ‘Shipment’ tab in vFulfill.

The Shipments are broadly categorized into:

  • In-Transit Shipment

  • Delivered Shipment

  • Returned Shipment

Let's understand each of the shipments now, shall we?

1. In-Transit Shipment:

A shipment is said to be “In-transit”, from the time an order is packed and picked at first-point in the order cycle till final delivery to the customer and hence, this shows all orders that are still in transit.

Here, you can check the number of orders that are in-transit along with their current status in real-time.

To monitor these shipments in real-time, you can follow these steps below:

Step 1: Click on the ‘Waybill number’ provided on top of each order

Step 2: This will take you to a separate tracking page of our delivery partner, that will have details like shipment origin, destination, and current status.

2. Delivered Shipment:

This section gives you the number of orders that have been successfully delivered to your end customers.

If your customers have concerns with a delivered shipment, you can directly raise a dispute from here by going to ‘Action’ and clicking on ‘Raise a Dispute’ within 7 days from the date of delivery.

3. Returned Shipment:

This section consists of all the orders that have been marked for return and that have been successful ‘Returned-to-Origin’

You can even track such orders and see their entire order-cycle, from Initial order received to Final return by simply clicking the ‘Waybill Number’ present on the top.

- If you want a holistic picture of all your in-transits shipments, deliveries, and returns you can do that by clicking on ‘Download CSV’. This file has all the information regarding shipments and auto-updated from time-to-time.
- Also, if you want to check the shipment status of a particular day/ week/ month, you can filter your shipments data using the ‘Date Range Filter’ on the top below your search icon
